It’s a Friday the Thirteenth mixed bag today. Life has been chaotic from Mom’s exploding work to Gramma’s issues, to happenings with us pups. Let’s start with a positive, these pretty pink flowers for me, Pink Girl, Madison.
Where am I you ask? Why, I’m at the vet. My leg issue has come back with a vengeance. It’s not getting better and my rehab appointment isn’t for a few weeks so I visited my regular vet. For the time being I’m supposed to take it easy, take some pills twice a day and hope things improve way before my rehab appointment. It is a real bummer and we don’t know why my leg is doing this. I went to bed fine one night and woke up limping like crazy. Thank dog for insurance.
Nelson has a new fall collar. It is called “Apple Orchard” and it is from out favorite collar place, UpCountry, Inc. About 90% of our collars come from there. Some are twenty five years old or more. They are all great designs, and last forever despite being washed in the washer after a few weeks of being worn.
With me being on the resting list, it means Nelson lost his walking partner. Mom can’t really walk him with Bailie or Olivia as they are all too strong together. Nelson enjoys running so Mom decided to run three miles with Olivia in the morning and then take out Nelson for a walk/run. They run part of the miles they are on the road but Nelson can stop and walk at any point. So far it is working out well. It wears Nelson out a bit more than straight walking and Mom likes the extra workout.
Ready, set, run! There goes Nelson. He is happy to finally get to experience running. All of us girls ran for years, so it is time for him to get his cute behind moving.
Finally, today is Friday the thirteenth. We are not worried as it is normally like any other day. We had some other days this week that were disastrous, and we hope that stuff is behind us. Happy Friday the Thirteenth from our crazy home to yours!
