Today we have a frozen Friday photo dump for you. It was below zero all week, either the actual temperature or the windchill. The weather wasn’t conducive to many fun activities inside or anywhere really. We did enjoy our walks twice a day but in shorter form and we played in the yard during the day but not for long periods of time. It is not a complaint as we don’t mind, it simply makes for not much news.
Bailie is showing off her shoes/boots. Three mornings it was more than ten below actual temperature which means paw freeze. On the road we are fun but we always go off road into the snow and that causes the paw freeze, thus paws covered.
Nelson was happy to hang out on the grooming table for some extra grooming this week. He is totally into his appearance and being groomed.
I enjoy lying in the warm sunshine after spending some time in the great outdoors. It sure feels good when you are partially frozen.
For some reason, Bailie’s furs get full of static cling when it is super cold out. The dry air outside and in the house seem to do it. It is normal for her head furs and the furs on her back to stand up.
Nelson likes to feel bigger than he really is. Before deciding what to do when he goes outside, he likes to stand and the top of the stairs, air scent, and look for any possible critters. Dusk and dawn are prime times for critters.
Bailie went to the sports store with Mom one day and met this black bear. The light coming in from above really made for a bad photo, but she is posting it anyway. No one else in the family has a photo with a huge bear.
The fireplace is where Bailie has been hanging out every evening. It is cozy warm and she likes that. Nelson and I are not into it for some reason.
We will end our Friday photo dump with our homemade trundle beds. Mom put the huge cushion beds by our window bench to pad our jumping down a bit. Nelson actually enjoys napping on them! The heat is on the way and in the next few days it will be too warm and all our snow will melt making a big mess outside. Hope you enjoyed our little photo dump. Have a fun weekend!
We are joining our friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard is for their Nature Friday blog hop.
