Over the weekend, we went to the Washington County Fairgrounds for me to run FastCAT and earn my new FastCAT Title. I started FastCAT exactly two years ago and have run many times at this location.
This time my goal was to earn my FCAT2 Title. The weather was cold and very windy the first two days but a bit warmer with a light wind on the last day for my runs. We brought along my amazingly awesome releaser who helped me earn my second and third best times ever! She has her Team Lime Green Releaser shirt and Mom has her FastCat one.
Mom is super proud of me and my new FastCAT Title. This weekend is also my retirement from FastCAT which made my good performance and high level of fun so much nicer. Now we will have more time to do other sports things we need to catch up on.
Since Mom always catches me, she never sees how I look running from the releaser view. We gave my releaser the GoPro so she could get a video of me taking off. I love to howl and I really don’t enjoy waiting for me turn. Everyone knows me since no other GBGVs are in our area, I’m handsome, and I make a lot of noise. Good thing I run fast since the attention is on me a lot.
It is a coincidence that I ran my first and last FCAT with the same club on the same weekend at the same location. This photo is from May 21st, 2023 with my BCAT title, the first FCAT title a pup can earn. Funny how the club also, coincidentally, has lime green ribbons.
Here I am with my new fancy ribbon, and I am proud of it too. Olivia and Madison both had FCAT3’s when they retired but I’m good with my FCAT2. I can race in my yard when I have the need to run. Thanks to my mom for a Grand weekend and so much fun running for two years. 20MPH was my top speed which I only hit once in May of 2024, I came close, .01 seconds short, this weekend of hitting it again.
My GBGV Life is happy, so we’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
