We are in the midst of Pet Appreciation Week which is June 1st-7th. Mom says every week is that kind of a week at our house but still she tends to do something a little bit extra when it is the “actual” week. For us one on one time is the biggest thing we really love that is not something we get every day.
Mom took me for a nice walk to Cobblestone where we used to go quite often but haven’t been in at least five or six years. It did involve a five minute car ride to get there but I survived. The place has changed a lot since our last visit. It is all built up now and they are actually redoing the trail. When Mom first started to walk here, there were only a few homes and it was all new construction.
Olivia went on a Chuck & Don’s shopping trip with Mom one day this week. Mom was looking for something she had seen on line but didn’t find it. Instead, Olivia got in some good sniffing time and she chose some new chews for us all for the evening. One is deer and the other is rabbit. We are looking forward to giving them a try. Mom also did some one on one nose work training with Olivia for her upcoming trials.
Nelson had his special time on Sunday when he sniffed out his new nose work title. On the way home, Mom took him for his own walk which he will post about tomorrow on nature Friday. Mom does her best to always give us one on one time when she can. All of us are thankful we have a great home and are very well cared for.

- Meet up with friends and their dogs for walks or play if your dog likes that kind of thing
- Get some extra special treats
- Do more activities with your pet that she loves to do
