‘Disturbing’ Video Shows Driver Abandoning Dog And Then Saying ‘Bye-Bye’ Before Speeding Off

A shocking video captured in Arizona shows a driver heartlessly abandoning a small dog in the middle of a street—then saying “Bye-bye” before speeding off.

The disturbing footage was recorded on a home surveillance camera and quickly went viral, sparking outrage and calls for justice.

The video shows a red SUV approaching a dead-end street before making a U-turn. Moments later, the vehicle slows down, and the back door opens. A small black-and-white dog is pushed out onto the pavement.

A voice from inside the vehicle coldly says, “Bye-bye,” before shutting the door.

As the car speeds off, the confused dog tries to chase after it, desperate to return to its owner.

The heartbreaking scene ends with the abandoned pup wandering back to the street’s end, where it approaches a kind stranger for help.

Local resident Joanna Buesen found the malnourished and frightened pup while taking a walk that afternoon.

“I was angered. I was flabbergasted, shocked. Just so many emotions,” Buesen said.

She immediately took the shaken dog home, gave it food, and contacted animal control.

The incident, which took place on Saturday, March 8, at 12:16 p.m., has now been reported to Arizona law enforcement.

The Surprise Police Department has obtained a clear video of the car’s license plate and is working to identify the person responsible.

“The video posted on social media has led to numerous tips that our investigators are following up on,” police told Fox 10.

The dog was taken in by Surprise Animal Care and Control and will soon be transferred to the Arizona Humane Society, where it will be placed for adoption.

This case comes amid a troubling rise in animal abandonment and cruelty cases in Arizona.

According to Tracey Miller, director of field operations for the Arizona Humane Society, calls related to animal neglect and cruelty have significantly increased in recent months.

“Animal cruelty in the state of Arizona is on the rise,” Miller testified before the state Senate, calling for stricter animal protection laws.

Despite the heartless betrayal, this sweet pup now has a second chance at finding a loving forever home.

Once in the care of the Arizona Humane Society, the dog will be available for adoption, giving it the opportunity to finally experience the love and kindness it deserves.
