Good Boy Rescued From Canal Gets Help Finding Family From Firefighters and EMS Crew

Once the dog was out of the water, crews realized he had suffered a cut on one of his paws. With no owner in sight and no immediate way to identify where he belonged, firefighters brought him back to Fire Station 4 to ensure he received the care and attention he needed.

Lee County EMS personnel stepped in to treat the injured paw, making sure the dog was comfortable while he waited for help. Surrounded by compassionate first responders, the pup was given a safe place to rest after what had likely been a stressful and confusing experience.
