Happy Golden Retriever Visits Dog-Friendly Mall and Has the Best Day Ever

If you’ve spent even a little time on TikTok, chances are you’ve come across Nala, the cheerful golden retriever who’s become a sensation online. She’s most known for her signature move, affectionately called the “Nala Stomp.”

Fans love it so much that her dad, Chris, started calling the video mashups of her dancing “Stompilations.” Honestly, watching her brings back childhood memories—I can’t help but sing, “Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. Doing that Nala Stomp,” just like the Yeti Stomp song from The Backyardigans.

A Trip to the Mall Turns into a Meet-and-Greet

One day, Chris decided to take Nala on a fun outing to a dog-friendly mall. Even though he knows she’s a popular pup, he still looked surprised when people quickly gathered around asking, “Is that Nala Stomp?” It didn’t take long for Nala to start showing off her famous stomp, bringing huge smiles to everyone’s faces. Fans were thrilled, and Nala looked just as happy to be the center of attention.

Nala the Superstar

Nala may usually do her special move with Chris, but she doesn’t mind putting on a show for fans, too. She loves meeting new people and soaking up all the love and belly rubs. That day at the mall was full of hugs, photos, tail wags, and of course—lots of stomping. Whether it was strangers or long-time fans, everyone was excited to see her in action.

More Than Just a Cute Dog

Chris and Nala are from Utah, and when they’re not winning hearts at the mall, they’re out exploring the great outdoors. Their adventures often include hiking, camping, and finding any spot with water—Nala is always drawn to it. As for Chris, he sometimes goes on dates, but nothing serious has come from it. He does work closely with Oliver’s Mom, but it doesn’t seem romantic. Truth be told, Nala might just be the best wingdog ever—everywhere they go, she attracts crowds, especially groups of women. The mall day was no different, and who knows? Maybe someday someone will win Chris’s heart… if Nala approves!
