Modeling class is now officially checked off my to do list. The class was six sessions and I attended five of them. It was pretty rough as class started at 8:15 at night. Usually we go to bed not long after that which means Mom and I were tired and didn’t have a lot of drive to pack up and go to class but we did it.
Since we all model at our house the question is, why take a modeling class? Mom was hoping I might learn some new things that I could use when working on the blog. We did actually learn a few things. My favorite new trick is wave. The photo is me and my classmate Denali waving.
The problem we had with class is that the things we do all the time are hard for the others in class to do but the tricks they do are hard for me to do. One night we worked on sitting with other dogs for a photo. By the way, there was a fourth dog in the class but I don’t have any photos of that dog for some reason.
It was shocking for me to learn that most dogs don’t like to wear hats, glasses or clothing. We do it all the time at our house. Mom had me wear this sombrero for a quick photo. Call me Señor Nelson.
Next we posed for a group photo with props. Denali didn’t feel like wearing anything, so she was holding a prop in her mouth instead.
On the last night of class we got to sit in the chairs and take a group photo. I think everyone did a pretty good job focusing on the camera.
When the last class finished I received my certificate, so I really can cross modeling school off my to do list. I learned wave, spin, sit pretty, bow and am working on holding things. We don’t see ourselves taking any more classes like this but it was a fun experience and now it is behind us. Did I mention the best part of all was getting lots of snacks for my work!
