Morning on the St. Croix is so peaceful and beautiful. On our way to my trial Sunday we stopped to take a little walk along the river. The weather was perfect and it is a nice way to relax and spend time together before getting to the stress of a trial. Behind me in this photo is the marina in Stillwater.
There were already a lot of boats out on the river. The boat launch had at least a dozen cars with trailers parked there. You can’t see the boats in this photo as they were further down the river. Water early on a pretty morning is very relaxing and we really enjoyed our short walk. We then hopped back in our car and drove over the river to Wisconsin about five miles to the trial site.
