While Bob Baker’s name might not be familiar to everyone, his incredible artistry has undoubtedly touched the lives of many.

Often described as the real-world version of Geppetto from the classic story Pinocchio, Bob Baker was a true master of his craft. He began creating marionettes while he was still a high school student and quickly became a celebrated figure in the world of puppetry. His talents even made it to Hollywood where his puppets appeared in the famous 1960 Elvis Presley movie G.I. Blues. Today, Bob Baker’s influence lives on through the Bob Baker Marionette Theater where audiences continue to experience the magic he spent a lifetime perfecting.
