Today I got out the old album and decided to take a look at the evolution of our family birthday parties over the years. I’ve seen eleven years of them and they keep getting better I think. Let’s have a look back starting in 2014.
How embarrassing! My first birthday had me all done up in pink, and I celebrated on the floor with Katie and Emma. Pink really isn’t my color but this was all before I really had my own color.
On my second birthday I got away from so much pink and added in some other colors. I have on a birthday collar, though.
When I turned three, I felt really grown up and mature. Mom got me the candle crown and finally the purple in the form of feathers!
Parties really started to get more civilized when I turned four. It was the first time we actually sat at the table. I think Mom ordered the cake and ice cream online.
Turning five I tried the fancy top hat look. It is the first year Mom ordered a cake from a bakery. Madison went along to pick it out and as you can see on the sides, it is purple!
My sixth birthday was the first party with Olivia in the family. She was just shy of three months old and would not wear a party hat. Mom made a cake that year and we had ice cream with it.
Lucky seven brought a smile to my face. I had another new had that I really liked too. This is me smiling with frosting lips, LOL!
At eight, I found another new party hat for my party. We also went to the bakery at this time to pick out something that I would like to have for my party. I think they are macrons for dogs.
Nine is the tiny party hat year. We had a nice walk for my photo shoot and I was a happy camper.
I turned a perfect ten next. Not only that but I had a blueberry cake with lots of purple for my party dessert. It is also the debut of my new, custom, party hat. Doesn’t that cake look delicious?
My eleventh birthday was a Grand time and the last birthday of mine with Madison. She loved a good party more than anyone and was always so happy and well behaved. I had some tasty cookies last year.
Hope you enjoyed looking back with me. We always have fun parties and hopefully this year will be another fun one!
