I decided to create a throwback snowback Thursday today. The weather is a mess, way too warm, water and mud all over the place, and we are not allowed in the yard for a while. Boring! Even walking isn’t the best. Since not much is happening here, I thought I would look back at my first Minnesota winter in February 2023, when we had a ton of snow and even more fun!
Olivia is posing in the street not long after the plow went by and snow was still falling. How nice it looks and so peaceful too!
Bailie looks super funny with her head furs all puffed up and kind of a scowl on her face as she makes her way through the deep stuff in the backyard.
My sisters let me dig my very first real man cave! How fun to have my own den with no girls allowed.

We never tire of playing chase in the yard. Olivia is hot on my behind as we cruise through the deep snow in the yard. How fun!
The thirty foot snowman was Bailie’s find. All the news crews, including national news, had been out to see it and Bailie was determined to see it too. At this point he was a bit dirty but he was still an amazing creation.
Snowbanks are nice for resting on when your big sister is showing you how to look for rabbits. I don’t think we saw any but it was fun looking anyway.
Let’s end our throwback snowback Thursday with a photo you have to expect, Olivia racing along with a goofy face as always. She is the funniest sister ever! Now we hope Mom can figure something out so we can be in the yard since it sadly doesn’t look like snow is in our future. We are all thankful for the snowy winters of the past with all the happy memories.
