Today is my twelfth birthday and I am ready to party! Mom took me to a lake for a little photo shoot. It was hot out and there was lots of sun but we did get a few decent photos of me in my party hat. I’m always happy to pose for photos and do things with my mom.
Mom took this shot of me on a bench by the water. I was watching another dog swim after tennis balls, how ridiculous is that? I would never swim nor would I chase a ball. Lots of dogs are into those hobbies, though.
We took some trails in the woods. Being a weekday, there were not too many people around. It is nice to have the place to ourselves.
Here’s another shot of me doing my panting. I am happy, though. It’s nice to be out and about in the nice weather since we have had so much rain lately.
We found a tree that had fallen down and I put my paws up on it so make myself taller. Mom says I’m either a super happy girl or I am mad. I guess I don’t have any feelings in between those. Luckily, most of the time I am happy.
Now I am twelve which is crazy. I don’t have any big plans except to enjoy life and eat lots of treats and good food. I’m looking forward to a fun little party with Olivia and Nelson this afternoon and maybe some special food or treats during the day.
