We are super thankful for our navigator and nanny! It is a major help for Mom since she can get lost going around the block, and it is nice for us if we don’t have to sit in the car all day when the other one of us is trialing. We’ve been traveling as a “bunch” for over four years now, often with three of us as Madison was usually along. All of us just love having another human to help and hang out with our mom. Our navigator loves to travel so she likes to travel with us.
Since we know our navigator/nanny well, it is fun to hang out with her when we travel. One of us usually sleeps on her bed so she isn’t lonely too.
Nelson had a great two days with her as his nanny while I was at my trial in Maine. She enjoys having someone to walk with too.
We have traveled so much together, she even knows to take photos when Mom isn’t with us. Mom loves getting photos of the dog who isn’t with her while we are hanging out at our trial.
In Maine, she and Nelson found this cute little lighthouse which makes a nice photo.
It’s good for the dog who stays behind and the nanny to get some fresh air and nature. Nelson had a fun time discovering a new trail in the woods.
When the nanny is working, Nelson is happy to nap. When he wakes up his hair can be a bit of a mess but the nanny gets the head furs down before they go outside.
We even get to find interesting history information when we are out and about.
After spending the day with Mom at a trial it is nice to give our navigator and nanny some GBGV love.
Having a nanny is nice for all but the most important thing Mom loves is the navigator. She is always on her phone map or her atlas. Mom still turns in the wrong spots even with a navigator but she gets us back on the right road. We sure are lucky to have her and I think all of us are super happy to travel together!
