I’m a pretty happy girl, but what am I thankful for, what makes me happy? Mom often feels bad because I never go anywhere and I miss out on a lot of things but she also knows I’m happy staying at home and enjoying other things in my life besides sports and travel. Of course, I’m happy to have a good home, food, treats and water but there are other things too.
I love my cuddle bed. It is right next to Mom’s desk in our office. Most days I spend a lot of time snoozing in it. The bed is super cozy and sometimes Mom even lays in it with me for a quick power nap.
My purple Furballz makes me really happy. I’m super lucky to have it to hang out with and carry around.
Siblings have always been something I am thankful for, some more than others. I can’t imagine being an only dog. Nelson is an amazing brother. He is so kind and nice to me. We hang out a lot and I really appreciate him.
Having a nice fenced yard to be in is wonderful. I can enjoy my yard space any time of the year and it makes me happy to track and chase critters.
Finally, I’m always thankful for my mom. She chose me and not my siblings and has never looked back. Even in my naughty puppy years, she has always loved and cared for me. We have a lot of mommy and me time which we both love too. All in all, I’m a really lucky hound and I have a lot of thankfuls in my life.
