Dog Saves His Owner’s Life as Wildfire Engulfs Everything Around Them

Donna Carberry did not see the danger coming, but her German Shepherd, Shadow, sensed it before she understood how close the flames had come. As a fast-moving wildfire swept through the Spokane, Washington, area, Donna was still inside her home, unaware that fire had already consumed part of her property. Shadow refused to let the warning signs go unnoticed. Growing increasingly desperate, the loyal dog began throwing his body against the back door, determined to get Donna’s attention.
