Guy Assures Tiny Dog With Lovesick Eyes That She’s Ready To Come To Him

In this heartwarming rescue story, a kind-hearted individual noticed a severely injured dog and did everything he could to assist her until additional help could arrive. When Hope For Paws received word of the stray dog’s plight, the lead rescuer, Eldad, immediately drove to the scene in California. Arriving quickly, he was met by the Good Samaritan, who guided them to a makeshift shelter he had set up for the dog. The dog, initially frightened by the presence of strangers, needed help despite her fear. Eldad approached cautiously to assess her injuries.

Realizing she wouldn’t come out on her own, the rescuer gently placed the Lucky Leash around her, and to his surprise, she remained calm throughout. As he attempted to coax her out, he was unaware of the extent of her injuries. The Good Samaritan explained that she had been struck by a car in the area and had sustained a broken pelvis.

Hearing this news, Eldad and his team knew they had to act quickly. They rushed the dog, now named Turtllini (because she looked like a turtle in her makeshift shelter), to a veterinary clinic in California for immediate care. At the clinic, she was given a bath, with extra care taken to dry her due to her broken pelvis. The veterinary team x-rayed the pup to determine the exact nature of the fracture. Upon reviewing the results, they decided surgery was necessary.

The operation was successful, and Turtllini began her recovery. She healed rapidly, becoming more playful, with her tail wagging whenever her rescuers were nearby. Her gratitude to those who helped her was evident. With her recovery underway, the focus shifted to finding her a permanent home. For now, Turtllini was placed in a foster home with the Safe Rescue Team, who would care for her until she found her forever family.

The courageous little dog is healing and learning to acclimate to life inside a home. She will be ready for adoption soon. Turtllini is receiving excellent care and attention. It’s heartening to see Turtllini get a second chance to show she is deserving of love, and there is hope that she will soon find someone truly special to call her own.
