In a previous post, I shared that you can Turn Your Dog Into A Human by using ChatGPT. In this post, I will guide you through creating your dog’s 3D action figure along with custom packaging and adding some accessories.
Why Make A Dog Action Figure?
This is a positively fun project you can do in minutes with the help of ChatGPT. Creating a custom action figure of your dog is also a paw some way to celebrate your dog’s personality. Just like what I did for my golden retriever KENZO = aka “Speedster KENZO” inspired by being a Fast CAT dog. The possibilities are as limitless as your imagination.

What You’ll Need To Create Your Dog’s Action Figure
ChatGPT – create an account and use it to generate the concept, packaging details, and accessories
An Image Of Your Dog – showcasing your dog’s personality and preferably in action
Optional: Photo Editing Tools – like Canva for any final touches or if you wish to add animation
Step-by-Step How to Create Your Dog’s Action Figure with ChatGPT
Step 1: Choose the Pawfect Photo of Your Dog
Begin with a good-quality image of your dog that captures his/her personality. This could be:
– A happy smile
– A playful moment (An Action Shot Photo)
– In a fun costume
Important Tip: The photo should be a clear, well-lit image of your dog’s face and body in a recognizable pose that you want replicated in the action figure.
Step 2: Upload Your Dog’s Photo to ChatGPT
After selecting the perfect dog photo, upload it in your ChatGPT conversation. (Use the + plus sign to upload the photo)
Now, it’s time to build your dog’s action figure.
Step 3: Create A Prompt To Transform Your Dog’s Photo Into An Action Figure
This is where the fun magic happens! Here are three tasks to help you create a pawsome prompt for your dog’s action figure.
a) Choose A Theme or Persona For Your Dog
Think about your dog’s traits—are they super fast, ultra chill, or a toy hoarder? This will inspire the character.
For Example: Like what I created for my dog, KENZO – Based on the photo I selected – an action shot of him running at a Fast CAT trial, I asked ChatGPT to label the packaging as “Speedster KENZO.”

b) Describe Your Dog’s Pose and Expression
Use the photo you selected as a reference and describe how your dog should look like in action figure form.
For Example: I described my dog, KENZO – “A golden retriever mi-run with its ears flapping, mouth open in joy, and all four paws in the air.”
c) Optional: Add Accessories
This can be optional but it’s fun to include in the packaging some accessories associated with your dog’s action figure. You can include meaningful objects such as toys, a Leash, or snack packs.
For Example: Based on the Speedster action figure I want to create for my dog KENZO, I added a white bunny plush, a leather leash, and a stopwatch. Why these accessories – In Fast CAT KENZo chases a white trash bag (aka white bunny), it’s a timed off-leash100 dash run and must have a leash at the end of the run.

Combine everything – theme, expression, and accessories into a detailed prompt to generate your dog’s 3D action figure.
Get experimental with something like the below example prompts to see your dog rendered in 3D as an action figure.
Prompt Example 1 – I used this prompt to create my dog’s “Speedster KENZO” 3D action figure.
“Create an image of a 3D action figure toy displayed in transparent plastic blister packaging. The packaging is labeled “Speedster KENZO.” Use the attached photo of a golden retriever dog as a reference. With ears flapping in the wind from its speed, the dog runs with an open mouth and tongue lolling. Its expression is one of pure energy and joy, captured perfectly with all four paws up in the air. Include an accessories section featuring a white bunny plush, a dark brown leather leash, and a stopwatch. Add a “Limited Edition” sticker in the top corner without covering any other text.”
General Example Prompt Template
“Create an image of a 3D action figure of a [breed/type of dog], shown in dynamic motion or a signature pose [add more descriptions based on your dog’s photo]. Use the photo attached as a reference. The figure is inside clear blister packaging labeled “[Action Name + Dog’s Name].” Include [describe accessories] in a side section. Use a colorful, fun design that matches the dog’s personality. Add a sticker that says “[Special Edition / Collector’s Item]” in the top corner.”
Step 4: Mock-Up Image
After a few seconds, you will see a mockup image that makes your idea a reality from ChatGPT.
You can download the image – use the arrow on the upper right-hand side.
If you want to make changes on the colors, your dog’s features, layout, or accessories – just modify the prompt and request ChatGPT to revise specific items.
* Take Note: If you are using the free ChatGPT, you are limited on how many images you can create (3 per day). You have to wait 24 hours to generate more.
Step 5: Save and Share!
You can download the image by using the arrow on the upper right-hand side.
After you download it, you can share it on your social posts and engaging fun conversations.
Other fun ways you can use the image:

Why stop at one? Make a whole line-up of your dog’s 3D action figure or simply a 3D toy image like what I did with KB and KENZO’s signature dog hug photo.
ChatGPT Transformed My Dogs Into A 3D Toy Figure
I used this prompt:
“Create an image of a 3d toy figure, displayed in transparent plastic blister packaging. The packaging is labeled ‘Golden HUG.’ Use the attached photo of hugging golden retriever dogs as a reference. Two golden retriever figurines nestled together in a warm embrace.
