The video’s caption explains Santo’s plight: “Meet Santo! He has been waiting for his forever family for 355 days. He is a 3-year-old collie/greyhound mix that is good with other dogs and older kids! He is very energetic and would thrive with training. Come meet this sweet boy at the Animal House Shelter in Huntley, Illinois.”

The shelter staff are dedicated to finding Santo the perfect home and hope that the right person will soon reach out to them. They describe Santo as an energetic dog who would thrive in an active household.
