Shelter Dog Realizes She’s Finally Going Home and Her Whole Body Starts Wiggling

For much of her young life, Paisley had little reason to know what it felt like to truly belong. The two-year-old Pit Bull mix had already been bred repeatedly before she arrived at a rural shelter, where she watched people come and go without choosing her. Day after day, Paisley waited behind the shelter doors while other animals found homes. Still, beneath everything she had experienced was a friendly, affectionate dog who seemed ready to trust people and begin again. All she needed was someone willing to finally see her.
