11-Year-Old Spent 100 Hours Reading to Shelter Dogs for the Sweetest Reason

While many children spend their free time playing games or watching videos, one 11-year-old has dedicated hundreds of hours to bringing comfort to homeless animals through the simple act of reading aloud. As part of the shelter’s Pawsitive Reading program, he has faithfully visited adoptable animals with books in hand, offering them calm companionship through every story he shares. With the encouragement of his grandmother, Nehemiah recently became the first child in the program to complete an incredible 100 hours of reading to shelter pets.
