We had an incredible experience with Upstate Canine Academy—Kyle, Marigrace, Zach, Alyssa were all incredibly caring, compassionate, and supportive throughout our journey. They immediately put our nerves at ease with how they connected with us and our dog, Lilah. She came in very reactive, but thanks to their patience and knowledgeable guidance, she’s now in a much more neutral, calm state and continues to improve every day. Their dedication and love for what they do truly shows, and we’re so grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on our lives.

Upstate Canine Academy is an amazing facility! When you walk in the door you a greeted by their friendly staff. Depending on your level of training you may be in one of the clean private training rooms, on the main floor, or involved in a “pack training”. When you have a question, they have an answer. Zach has worked with my catahoula puppy right from the beginning of basics to e collar, to off leash. He has the knowledge for all breed types, and I was greatly appreciative of his understanding of my not your ordinary working dog. 100% recommend Zack and Upstate!

I highly Upstate Canine Academy and head trainer Zach. I have a two year-old golden that was exhibiting behavior issues, but Zach taught me how to read her body language and we figured out what was really going on. After weeks of working with Zach, she has turned into a confident dog. We have been to multiple trainers before, but it wasn’t until the one on one training that we were really able to see huge changes. Thank you for everything you have done for our golden retriever and for making me a more confident handler.
