At our house, happiness is plenty of Furballz. We have five that are out and available to be played with at anytime. The new orange one is very lonely. I think Nelson picked it up once but we all prefer the four well loved ones instead.
The first Furballz joined our family on my birthday in 2018. Madison bought it for me, a nice orange one. We all loved this one immediately. Because it was the only one, we had no other choice and we did find it to be a fun toy.
As you can see in the Furballz five photo, the original one is in tough shape. Olivia uses it for a pillow sometimes. It squashes down to almost complete flatness these days.
Nelson brings it to his favorite hoarding place. When we can’t find any Furballz, we look behind the big chair cushion as Nelson stashes them there.
As time went on and the popularity of the original Furballz was well known, Mom added another and then another and so on until we had four. Unfortunately, before Mom started ordering, GoDog stopped making them in all the colors. Someone ate the eyes off my purple one. Most likely when that someone was a puppy.
Olivia loves to parade around with one when she is waiting for Mom to get ready to walk. Note, she is already wearing her walking harness.
Nelson not only hoards these precious toys in “his” chair, he also piles them up where he is hanging out.
Several years ago at a barn hunt trial Mom went next door to Fleet Farm, just for something to do. She found a bin of clearance toys and there were several Furballz in the bin. She bought four of them, including the “fresh” orange one that we are ignoring. One of these days she has told us the old ones will vanish because they are just too old and then we will have to play with the new ones. I sure hope that day isn’t for a long time as we love these old ones so much. They bring such happiness to all of us!
My GBGV Life is happy, so we’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
