Tuesday morning Mom took me to our family vet for the first time. I was at a vet in Alabama but Mom likes to get her puppies checked out when they come to live here. It was my turn. Everyone was super nice to me and it was not scary at all.
They put me on the scale and I weigh 13.8 pounds. Mom calls me her lunker. I do enjoy eating but I also get plenty of exercise. I don’t have any worms or other issues according to the tests. My vet just loved me and was so excited to see me and to get to be my vet.
The last thing we had to do was to get my microchip implanted. They said it might hurt but Mom said I would be alright. Well, they put some spray cheese on the table and I didn’t even notice they put my chip in! That cheese was good stuff. Mom got my preventatives, paid the bill and we headed home. I will go back in a few weeks for my final shots. They are so nice, I look forward to seeing everyone again! I’m thankful for good health care and a mom that makes sure everything is good with me.
