Nelson’s Birthday Party Times Of The Past

Who wants to look at some of my party times of the past? I’m only turning four which means there are only a few parties but there are still some really good memories to see. Hopefully this year will be fun again!

Does any living creature remember the day they were born? It’s kind of weird but I think brains have limited space as when you get older, younger memories suddenly vanish. I know it is an odd thing to think about but I do wonder why we can’t remember things from early on later in life. Anyway, here I am with the rest of my then siblings right after we were all born, on a heating pad with a heat lamp from the top. Remember from the other day, I have the red/white/blue ribbon. All that heat makes me know why now I prefer lying next to a cold door, whew!

A year later, my first birthday, was a totally different kind of party. I doubt my original siblings have parties like we do but I love our family parties. This is the only party with the four of us and we did sure have a blast! Can you tell I can hardly wait to have my cookie?

In 2024 I turned two. My party was not as crazy and a bit sad since Madison had had major surgery and was unable to celebrate with us on my birthday. At the time I was simply thankful she survived her ordeal but I felt bad for her as she loved our parties more than anyone.

Mom felt bad about Madison too. She secretly got an extra piece of cake and I was able to have a Madison and me private party a couple weeks later. We had fun, just the two of us and she loved my snowman cake even though it was blue and not my color, green.

Last year we were just three for a three year old’s party. I think I had a carob cake last year but I don’t really remember. The three of us had a nice time and enjoyed the cake. The party times of the past are nice memories and I hope we make some fun ones this year when I turn four! We are all thankful Mom loves throwing parties for us and we enjoy having them…especially the dessert eating part!
