A quiet Sunday morning turned terrifying in seconds for 86-year-old Ned Tarmey, but he was not as alone as his attacker may have thought. Ned was at home in Manchester, New Hampshire, with his family’s Pit Bull, Kane, when an unexpected encounter at the back door suddenly became violent. As Ned faced a frightening threat from a neighbor, Kane recognized that something was wrong.
