Rescuers Find Puppy Wandering Alone With His Name Shaved Into His Fur

Ben was still young enough to be figuring out the world when he somehow ended up navigating it all by himself. At less than 4 months old, the little Pit Bull mix was found wandering alone in Austintown, Ohio, with no family anywhere in sight. But when Ben arrived in the care of the Mahoning County Dog Warden, rescuers noticed something especially unusual about their tiny new guest. Someone had shaved his name directly into the fur on his side, leaving the skin underneath scabbed and irritated.
