Severely Matted Poodle Finally Feels Relief After Three-Hour Grooming

A gentle little Poodle named Panko is finally experiencing comfort after enduring what was likely a long period of neglect that no dog should ever face. When the 3-year-old arrived at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, staff quickly realized his overgrown coat was hiding far more than tangled fur. Beneath the heavy layers were painful conditions that had affected nearly every part of his body, making even simple movements difficult. Although his appearance was heartbreaking, Panko greeted everyone with a sweet, trusting nature that never faded, giving his rescuers hope that with patience, medical care, and plenty of love, he could begin a much brighter new chapter.
