I’m thankful for the food variety we have at our house. Over time Mom moved from kibble to a raw meat with freeze dried diet to raw. Now she has discovered more about raw and gives us more and more variety. We order the freeze dried veggies from Amazon, then we pick up about four hundred pounds of raw every several months at a ranch north of us and then we order freeze dried, single ingredient treats and a variety of proteins from a place that we pick up our order at not far from home. I often get to ride along and believe me, I check out what goes into the back of the car!
The newest place receives offers from many people every two weeks. We order online and the company delivers giant coolers of food to a home where all the buyers pick up their orders. It is super organized and simple. The coolers each have orders for six to eight people inside. You can arrive anytime between eleven in the morning and seven at night. The tops of the coolers list the names of the orders inside and where they are in the cooler.
Mom orders salmon for us. We get some every morning with our breakfast as it is so healthy and we love it. She also orders odd proteins like beaver, bison, wild mix, things we don’t eat often but enjoy. We are thankful Mom works hard at giving us nutritional food to keep us as healthy as possible. I’m thankful I often get to ride along and smell that yummy aroma on the drive home. Now to get these frozen salmon patties into our garage freezer to keep them frozen until we are ready to eat them.
