For Taiwanese artist Liang Renchuan, that loss felt almost impossible to put into words after saying goodbye to his beloved companion, Hachiko. Rather than letting grief become the final chapter of their story, he turned to the creative passion they had enjoyed together for many years. Using pieces of driftwood they had collected side by side on countless beach trips, Renchuan created a heartfelt tribute that beautifully celebrates Hachiko’s life, their extraordinary bond, and the memories that will remain with him forever.
