When rescuers received word that a mother dog had given birth to seven puppies near a factory, they acted immediately. Upon arriving, they found the mother curled up on the ground with her babies pressed close to her for warmth and safety. Her eyes told a story of deep sorrow and exhaustion. She had cried out for help, but no one had come—until now.

The rescuers named the brave mother Cura. Despite their gentle approach, Cura was terrified and protective, not allowing anyone near her pups. The team’s hearts broke further when they discovered that three of the puppies had already passed away. The remaining four huddled beside their mother, hungry and vulnerable.
Cura had been injured, and it was clear she was in pain. Still, her instinct to protect her babies overpowered everything else. Rescuers offered food, slowly gaining the trust of the puppies who, in their desperation, eagerly reached for the kindness extended to them. But Cura remained on edge. When she tried to flee, she became trapped between massive concrete light poles.
The rescue team refused to give up. After two and a half hours, one of the rescuers managed to crawl through the narrow space, gently reaching Cura and pulling her to safety. She was finally freed—but the team still feared they were too late.

They rushed the canine family to the hospital for urgent care. The puppies were treated for fleas and parasites, and given nourishing food. Cura, however, had suffered too much. Her injuries were severe, and despite the veterinarians’ efforts, she did not survive.
Her loss hit everyone hard. Cura had shown incredible strength, protecting her babies and enduring her wounds silently until the very end. The rescuers made her a promise: her puppies would live the life she fought so hard to give them.

In the weeks that followed, the puppies slowly began to thrive. Their spirits lifted, their bellies filled, and their tails wagged more each day. With love and attention, they grew stronger, happier, and more playful.
Six months later, all of Cura’s puppies had been adopted. Their new families welcomed them with open hearts, giving them the warmth and safety they had never known. From playing in grassy yards to curling up in cozy beds, the once-fragile puppies were now living full, joyful lives.

And through it all, their mother’s bravery lived on in each wag of their tails.
