Sometimes the dog who changes your entire life is the one you never planned to meet. Sixteen years ago, long before The Asher House, its sanctuary, or the enormous pack that millions of animal lovers would eventually come to know, Lee Asher walked into a Florida animal shelter and met a frightened little dog named Molly. She would become his first dog from the pack, his traveling companion, one of the inspirations behind The Asher House, and, in Asher’s words, one of the most important souls of his life. He was in his twenties, working as a corporate trainer and frequently moving between cities and states.
