Police K-9 Struck by Car After Bolting From Patrol Vehicle Is Still Missing

A routine response to a business alarm turned into a frightening search for a beloved police K-9 after Gael, a young yellow Labrador, suddenly escaped from his handler in Miami Gardens. What began as an ordinary Monday night assignment quickly became deeply personal for Officer K. Stanley and the rest of the Miami Gardens Police Department.
