Roadside Rescue Puppy Finds Healing and Love After a Difficult Start

Some moments remind us that a single act of kindness can completely change an animal’s future. That was true for Hemi, a tiny 3-month-old puppy whose young life had already been filled with pain and uncertainty. Left alone beside a busy road with sore, irritated skin and no one to protect him, he faced impossible odds. Everything changed when a compassionate driver noticed him instead of passing by. That simple decision gave Hemi the chance to leave fear behind and begin a journey toward comfort, healing, and the love every puppy deserves. Instead of assuming someone else would help, she pulled over and carefully approached him. Thankfully, Hemi was gentle enough to let her bring him into the safety of her car, giving him the second chance he so desperately needed. When Hemi arrived at Stray Rescue, the team quickly discovered he was suffering from demodectic mange, commonly called demodex mange.
