Who is a party animal? I guess I am as I love our family birthday parties. Actually, I think we all do so we are just a family of party animals. Today for my birthday week I am looking back at my first six parties. I grabbed a fun shot from each year for my post.
My first birthday was kind of funny. I looked back at it and I had such a crazy hat that Mom ordered special for me and I had no idea about how to even behave as the birthday girl of the day! Even Miss Manners, Madison, was forgetting about her manners.
A year later I was two and had learned to pose for a photo before digging into any birthday desserts. We actually took a pretty nice photo of the three of us and my cake looks pretty tasty too. I guess that is not a secret with my tongue out like that!
Oh dear, when I turned three things got a bit crazy again! Sometimes when things are so yummy, manners have to fly out the window. Mom is pretty understanding about that at our parties. After all, they are “our” parties.
Notice when I turned four we actually had four of us to celebrate! Amazingly, despite having more of us, our photo was much better!
Mom is always mixing up the seating arrangement! Here I am at my fifth birthday also with four of us together for some fun and celebration. This party we had help from our navigator since Mom had just had her collarbone surgery and needed help “wrangling” the hounds. Sadly, it was Madison’s last party for my birthday.
Last year I was six, crazy how time flies by! We were back to just three but still had a lot of fun celebrating as always.I think Nelson is trying to steal the show, cozying up to Bailie for the photo.
This year I will be seven, hopefully a lucky seven! Stay tuned for the party highlights later this week!
